In order to have your story on this website, you must follow the following
guidelines...
Very little profanity, if any.
(No more than you would find on an episode of The Simpsons, Bernie Mac,
or any similar show you would find on the Fox Network. Not the movies,
mind you. The series they run.) Here's a hint... If it
is bleeped out of network television, your entire work will be bleeped
out on my site.
No strong sexual references. I
hate to say it, but The Simpsons wouldn't even make it on my site with
some of the episodes it's had. Yes, "love scenes" are allowed, but
under NO circumstances will they be so "hot and steamy" that my grandparents
would disown me for having it on my site. Here's a hint...
If it can't be shown on Disney, it can't be talked about on my web site.
The stories will have to be finished upon submission.
There is only ONE exception for this
rule. If the stories you decide to submit have "episodes" or "volumes",
similar to Masquerade and Refugee, then you may submit them seperately.
Other works that are obviously not finished WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL
THEY ARE FINISHED!
Stories are not to be copied from anyone or
by anyone. If I find that you
have taken credit for another person's or persons' work, not only will
I most likely get in trouble, but you will as well. It is grounds
for a huge lawsuit, as I consider all work on this website copyright the
writer that ORIGINALLY wrote it, not the one who submitted it. In
return for this service, I will not use any other authors' works that are
submitted to me for my own benefit. They will stay on my own website.
They will not be modified unless absolutely needed for formatting (such
as paragraph style, coloration, etc.). If there is a need for formatting,
I will ask the author before doing so. If the author does not with
for his/her/its work to be tampered with, then the deal will be off, and
the story will not be published on my site. Also, if someone finds
your story on my site and wants to put it on their own website with the
original author's name(s) (thereby giving full credit to you, the author(s)),
I will contact the author(s) before submission. If no response or
a negative response is given, I will see to it that your story does not
end up on their website. If I find a story that I'd like to put on
my site, I will notify the author of this and will ask full permission
to use this on my own site, giving them full credit, along with a link
to their own site. They will also be given an award from Blooms from
the Heart and Mind as a reward for hard work and bringing the art of self-published
online stories a boost in the world, shown here...
Okay, everyone! Start those pens and pencils and typing fingers,
'cuz submissions are open!!!
